Linda Quick has been painting all of her life, approximately 45 years.
Of course there were those early years, crayons and watercolor paint.
Then the nuns in 6th grade showed us how to layer crayon colors and do
scratch art.
Then mom took me to ceramics class with her.
Then in 1986 I started a landscape class using Acrylic paint. I joined
decorative painting clubs and have been painting everything ever since.
I just recently started using watercolors and I am still experimenting.
Acrylic paint is my favorite and I have recently found that it is fun
experimenting with also.
Linda Quick grew up as Linda Wilson in Kansas City, Kansas. The oldest
of 5 children, 1 sister and 3 brothers, in a small 3 bedroom, 1 bath, house.
Our family was close and we spent vacations camping in the Ozarks. I
love the outdoors that is why I am always looking at nature, skies, sunsets,
landscapes and flowers, especially flowers. If you visit any of my siblings
you will find my artwork everywhere!
